SummaryAs a Payroll Administrator at Universal, you will be a key resource in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. The Payroll Specialist will work with the Human Resources Department and various members of other departments on a regular basis. What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Verify accuracy and process payroll on multiple cycles :
- Hourly Payroll – Weekly
- Salary Payroll – Semi-Monthly
- Deferred Income Plan – Monthly
- Annual Incentive Plan – Annually
- Off-cycle payrolls, including any special, manual, or void payments
- Process and maintain accurate payroll information for all employees including new hires, terminations, transfers, and changes in pay and deductions.
- Assist with employee and management inquiries related to payroll.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of payroll systems and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments and outside agencies to provide documentation and reports.
- Provide payroll system support and troubleshoot issues with various departments and outside agencies.
- Respond to unemployment claims and bank notifications, such as ACH returns.
- Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.
