Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who will provide day-to-day oversight of various human resources functions critical to the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Designing, implementing, and coordinating policies and programs for compensation, payroll, benefit administration, and other functions of Human Resource Management for the Company’s operations.
- Work closely with the Assistant VP on all key policy and program design work and other HR matters.
- Assists in designing benefit plans and implementing human resources programs and policies.
- Provide general guidance and interpretation on company human resources policies, procedures and practices.
- Assists in investigating, overseeing, and resolving complex employee issues in accordance with company policies.
- Leads and directs the work of others in their day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Collaborates with leadership on special projects.
- Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
- Responsible for departmental budgets.
- Back-up support for the Company’s pension, long-term incentive plans and visa processing.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years’ Human Resources experience in multiple HR areas (compensation, payroll, retirement plans, talent acquisition, etc.) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Benefits experience is required.
- One to three years’ supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and regulations, HR policies and procedures, compensation and benefits and employee relations required.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and management skills with a high professional standard for customer service and work quality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Above average Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to use sound judgment and solid decision-making skills and be able to multi-task and balance priorities that involve confidential or sensitive matters.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, be self-motivating and be able to efficiently manage time and tasks without supervision.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative work style with the ability to think creatively and resolve ongoing complex issues.
- Excellent organizational skills.
