Position Summary
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Policy Advisor (Energy) to join its Lobbying & Public Policy practice. This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in energy policy and legislation, particularly those with experience on Capitol Hill or in an executive branch energy agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on federal energy legislation, regulatory trends, and public policy
- Participate in lobbying and public policy initiatives across the firm’s client portfolio
- Develop policy strategies and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders
- Engage with congressional and federal agency officials
- Collaborate with legal and lobbying teams on client deliverables
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in energy policy or legislation
- Prior experience on Capitol Hill (energy committees) or relevant executive branch agency preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or Master’s preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent academic credentials
- Collaborative, future-focused, and service-oriented mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
