IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

We are currently seeking to hire a Part-time IT System Administrator. This position supports the Operations Department with managing the IT infrastructure of the agency.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Responsible for third-party IT vendors, including selection, onboarding, performance, and contract management.-
Relationship management - develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, serving as the main point of contact.-
Contract and performance - manage IT vendor contracts, ensuring services meet the needs of the organization.-
Risk management - identify and mitigate risks associated with, or presented by vendors, including conducting periodic assessments to manage security and compliance requirements-
Cost management - work with management to track and optimize vendor costs and ensure alignment with budget requirements-
Continuous improvements - work with vendors to identify opportunities for improvements and implement recommendations-
Reporting and documentation - maintain accurate records of vendor interactions, contract statuses, performance and service reports, and provide regular updates to management
Responsible for managing MDR vendor
Develop and maintain cybersecurity compliance (CIS)
Maintain and develop the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft cloud services environment (Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams)
Administer user accounts, manage permissions, and ensure data security
Knowledge of MFA methodologies
Resolve initial IT issues (Level 1 IT support within agency)
Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues
Develop and lead necessary training sessions to support staff
Onboard new laptops and ongoing maintenance of existing laptops
Ability to research and make recommendations on new technology opportunities
Collaborate with departments to optimize workflows and automate processes using Office 365 and other agency software
Research and develop recommendations for hardware purchases
Implement and administer hardware / software solutions
Basic knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls in a corporate network
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues that may arise that affect system performance
Serve as a resource for application support
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
2 years of technical experience required
2 years of experience managing Microsoft 365 environments
Excellent communication skills are required as this position is expected to work with all departments
Must be logical under pressure, able to adapt and quickly prioritize if needed
Critical thinking skills
High attention to detail
Must be flexible, as there will be times that this role will need to be on site after business hours
Ability to work in a team environment and manage relationships with staff members in multiple departments
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
