ERP Applications Manager:
Universal Nutrition is a leading manufacturer and marketer of sports nutrition and dietary supplement products located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented ERP Applications Manager to work full time onsite. The ERP Applications Manager will provide strategic and functional leadership for management and day to day operations of the ERP System, Deacom, and its functions in a multi brand environment. The Manager will support various processes including design, configuration, testing and deployment to ensure the system functions efficiently and accurately to meet system requirements, customer needs and deliver optimal and error-free ERP solutions.
Responsibilities:
System Support & Management:
- Provides strategic and functional leadership for Implementation and management of ERP systems and its functions in a multi brand environment.
- Works directly with internal and external stakeholders to review, analyze and prioritize business requirements and provides process functional and technical subject matter knowledge to the design and integration elements of each enhancement or project.
- Perform system customization and configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality.
- Provide expert-level support for Deacom.
- Manage and support other software and IT infrastructure systems in conjunction with MSP; troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Handle system modification requests and ensure they meet business requirements.
- Train and onboard new and existing staff.
Reporting & Data Management:
- Gather and define reporting requirements from various departments.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems.
- Create and manage dashboards to provide valuable insights and data visualization.
- Monitor system performance, maintain and grow system as business needs grow and change.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects related to system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing external vendors and consultants, providing day to day direction to consultants on ERP Projects and support activity. Managing project budgets, Vendor contracts and invoices.
Continuous Improvement:
- Leads continuous improvement exercises to drive effectiveness and efficiency in the application delivery, system integrations, advanced features etc.
- Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the stakeholders to resolve issues. Analyze current business processes and make recommendations. Identify ERP solution possibilities and discuss with the business.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in ERP and wholesale systems.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below:
Education (from an accredited college or university):
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of professional experience leading, managing and supporting ERP systems in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Experience in configuration and implementation in specific modules within finance, accounting, purchasing, production, quality, sales, and distribution.
- At least one full cycle ERP implementation
- Proven experience with Deacom is highly preferred.

Benefits:
- $100,000 to $120,000 base salary (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NJ - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset.)
