The Online Partner Sales team is focused on driving conversion through 3rd party travel sellers in the Online Travel Agency (OTA) and US Vacation Package markets. The Sales Manager is responsible for implementing account-focused strategies for park ticket sales and room night generation among a subset of clients in the channel.
Working cross-departmentally, this role interfaces with travel seller’s counterparts to influence key initiatives that drive demand and impact annual revenue goals. This position is responsible for managing strategy, analyzing performance, and influencing results specific to their assigned accounts. It requires a dynamic individual with solid analytic skills, a proven track record in travel account management, and the ability to foster deep relationships internally and externally.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Account management responsibilities with key 3rd Party travel sellers. Serve as primary contact for interactions with their management & leadership teams focused on Resort inventory, Park Ticket admission media & related offerings on a daily basis. Communicate key initiatives and future business strategies to drive destination demand.
- Manages relationship and business objectives in coordination with internal counterparts in Trade Marketing, Product Planning, Contracting, Legal, Finance, Resorts & Digital Integrated Media to operationalize UO assets and related sales strategies.
- Analyzes weekly sales reporting data, & monthly financial data, interprets results & discusses related strategies within monthly scheduled account review sessions. Adjusts related marketing & distribution strategies based on monthly information.
- Understands and maintains UO brand strategy for Outer US (OUS) marketing in accordance with all print, collateral, digital and social media tools created for the channel.
- Maintains current knowledge on all UO programs, including activities in park and CityWalk plus all onsite hotels to be a useful resource to clients.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Sales required.
- 5 years’ management sales experience in the hospitality industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant experience working with OTA and US Wholesale companies.
- Microsoft Office
- Excel Reporting
- Salesforce knowledge preferred
- Knowledge of the OTA and US Wholesale channels
- Knowledge of hotel and ticketing platforms
