Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations. This position requires a detail-oriented and people-focused professional who can develop and implement effective HR strategies to support our company growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate talent acquisition processes with hiring managers and assist with recruitment tasks as needed.
- Complete onboarding process of new employees from the application and related paperwork to new hire orientation.
- Manage uniform distributions for new hires and existing employees.
- Manage recruiting workflow in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including online assessments, interview coordination, employment offers, pre-employment tests, I-9 compliance and correspondence with candidates.
- Maintain employee system records and department tracking files ensuring timely and accurate records.
- Assist in implementation and maintenance of employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in employment-related inquiries from employees and escalate to Chief People Officer as needed.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Understand and answer employee questions regarding HR policy, procedures, or employee handbook interpretation.
- If needed, process payroll and benefits for employees and complete internal reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
