NEED:
Looking for PTA to service an outpatient clinic in Mt Pleasant, MI.
JOB SUMMARY:
A Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) assists a Physical Therapist with a patient’s rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited program and licensure as a physical therapist assistant. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a physical therapist.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
2. Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
3. Two (2) years experience, preferred.
4. Acceptance of philosophy and goals of Agency.
5. Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Works indoors in outpatient clinic office.
