Job Description
Currently we are seeking an Injection Molding Cost Estimator. This individual will support the growth and success of the Engineering Department and the company by serving both internal and external customers through data analysis, accurate reporting and cost generation of tooling and finished plastic parts.
Responsibilities:
Develop piece/project cost using proprietary internal models for plastic injection molded components including secondary operations including assembly, sonic welding, painting and pad printing.
Interface with the Engineering department during technical discussions.
Develop high level tooling concepts and related costs required to support the proposed manufacturing process.
Contribute as a team member with internal departments including tooling, purchasing, sales and accounting.
Initiate continuous improvement of the estimating process.
Qualifications:
Three or more years experience estimating for a plastic injection molding company
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task and prioritize
Detail oriented
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to present ideas and concepts successfully
Excellent MS office skills (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook,)
