Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to analyze data effectively.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Utilize various measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines to gather precise data.
- Implement and maintain HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Follow ISO 13485 guidelines to uphold quality management systems in accordance with industry regulations.
- Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement in product quality.
- Document inspection results and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a quality control or laboratory technician role is preferred.
- Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality management standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
