Universal Printing Company LLC seeks a trustworthy, discreet and professional self-starter to join its team as a Billing/Accounts Payable Specialist. The candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing invoices from an intricate pricing and estimating structure, as well as other related Accounts Payable duties. Qualified candidates must be meticulous, attentive, precise, detail-oriented and possess superior math skills. An Accounting, Business or Mathematics degree is preferred.
This is a full-time, first shift position at a fast-paced, growing company. The candidate will be eligible for health insurance, including dental and vision, paid vacation, and 401(k) benefits with a guaranteed company match every pay period.
Eligible candidates’ qualifications include:
- Full understanding of the necessity for confidentiality, discretion, honesty and trustworthiness
- Computer proficiency in programs such as Peachtree, Access and Excel (knowledge of estimating programs helpful)
- Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Ability to prepare invoices carefully to capture all costs, working with multiple departments within the company when necessary
- Ability to research payables to ensure that amounts due are correct and payments are accurate, working with multiple departments within the company when necessary
- Ability to adhere carefully to all company Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
- Ability to work with management to develop ideas and processes for improving the company’s billing and payables workflow
- Ability to watch for minor details and changes that need to be questioned or fixed
- Ability to analyze data and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and aptitude to learn how each department in the company functions
