Universal Strategic Advisors is currently hiring Detention Compliance Specialists. If you have a experience inspecting detention facilities, enjoying traveling, and are looking for part-time work with a dynamic and responsible organization, this may be the opportunity for you.


Job Type: Part-Time; hours may vary when conducting on-site inspections and developing reports

Job Location: This position is remote but requires travel to facilities across the continental U.S.

Salary: $60.00/hour; travel reimbursable; per diem provided during travel


Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect DHS family and adult residential centers and short and long-stay juvenile facilities to assure compliance with Governmental residential/detention standards of care.

• Provide quality assurance and compliance reviews of client programs to include transportation operations.

• Develop, review, and update inspection tools for programs as requested by the client.

• Provide recommendations on improving client safety protocols and the inspection process, including changes to the standards that the client manages for their facilities and operations.


Minimum Qualifications:

•Current DHS Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain a Federal clearance through employer sponsorship.

•At least ten (10) or more years of relevant experience in conducting inspections and compliance reviews against Federal, state, and local standards.

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study preferred, though not required.
