UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Project Manager Office (PMO) Lead with extensive experience in project portfolio governance and enterprise-level IT project oversight. This position will be a hybrid position in Long Island City, NYC. Candidates with active Linkedin accounts are preferred.

The PMO Lead will drive the development of a best-in-class Project Management Office, establish and implement governmental frameworks, and ensure successful execution of change portfolio controls and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies, as well as leadership experience in managing PMO operations and mentoring junior team members.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 8 years experience project managing large projects (end-to-end)
- Expert Knowledge of PMLC and SDLC
- MS project 2013 or higher
- PMI-PMP certification is a must.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Long Island City, NY
- Strong communication, presentation, articulation skills
- Detail oriented, team player, soft skills, can follow process by the book
- Expert proficiency in speaking and understanding English language
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience influencing and managing executives and high-level stakeholders
- Strong content development skills for executive and board-level presentations
- Prior experience managing small to large-scale change projects in dynamic environments
- Knowledge or background in the Construction Management sector is a plus
