Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for a recruiter position responsible for driving undergraduate enrollment by actively engaging with local high schools, conducting presentations, coordinating campus visits, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role focuses on increasing awareness of Albizu’s academic programs and ensuring a seamless transition from high school to college. The recruiter will be expected to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), contributing directly to enrollment growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, teachers, and administrators to promote Albizu University.
- Visit local high schools, attend college fairs, and conduct engaging presentations on Albizu’s academic programs, student life, and career pathways.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing information on admissions, financial aid, and scholarships.
- Identify and cultivate a pipeline of students interested in Albizu’s undergraduate programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop recruitment materials and campaigns.
- Plan and execute campus tours, open houses, and special events for prospective students, families, and high school groups.
- Partner with faculty and student ambassadors to provide interactive and informative experiences during campus visits.
- Track engagement and follow up with students after visits to encourage application completion.
- Work closely with the Enrollment Management team to convert inquiries into applicants and applicants into enrolled students.
- Meet and exceed recruitment KPIs, including application growth, enrollment yield, and conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of student outreach, applications, and enrollments, demonstrating direct impact on institutional goals.
- Utilize CRM and student information systems (SIS) to track prospective students through the admissions pipeline.
- Assist the Enrollment Management team with strategic initiatives, events, and special projects as needed.
- Represent Albizu University at community events, college fairs, and professional conferences.
- Stay up to date on industry’s best practices, trends in higher education recruitment, and competitor analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (preferred fields: Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related area).
- 1–3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or student outreach.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in meeting enrollment targets and driving recruitment outcomes.
- Experience with CRM and student information systems (SIS) preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to high schools and recruitment events.
- Ability to travel frequently for high school visits, college fairs, and other outreach activities.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods during events and campus tours.
- Ability to lift and carry materials (e.g., brochures, event supplies) up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency in using computers and office equipment for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and through digital platforms.
