Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills, cooperation, and respect for others.
- Maintain open communication with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations in the classroom.
- Provide care for infants or toddlers as needed, including diapering, feeding, and comforting.
Skills
- Experience in infant care or toddler care is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Previous nannying or daycare experience is a plus.
- Strong first aid skills to ensure the safety of all children in the classroom.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
