Job Description : Reporting to the Senior Director of Donor Relations, the Assistant Director of Donor Relations will provide project coordination and management of the Division of Advancement's donor acknowledgement program with additional primary responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities : Managing, thoroughly researching, drafting and tracking high-level donor acknowledgement letters integral to the division's stewardship efforts, including presidential and vice-presidential level acknowledgement letters Manage comprehensive acknowledgement program, including but not limited to overseeing the production / writing of specialized acknowledgement letters (memorial / honoraria, soft credit donors, first-time donor outreach, etc.) Work in collaboration with and provide contacts at the various colleges / schools / departments on campus the information to produce timely acknowledgement letters or data lists for their specific areas. Troubleshoot any issues and provide additional information when requested. Manage and ensure the regular production, updating and mailing (via both traditional and email methods) of donor gift receipts. Provide charitable gift / pledge information to colleagues within the Division of Advancement, the campus community, and specific offices / donors. Work in collaboration directly with division's data management staff to manage, update and enhance the stewardship / donor relations acknowledgements and procedures via the division's database, Raiser's Edge. Assist with the successful execution of all aspects of on-campus / public recognition of major gifts donors for their support of the various departments / schools / colleges. Recognition may include plaque / poster unveilings for donor families and academic department leadership, small receptions for donors and other recognition initiatives like obtaining content for and creating personalized thank-you videos for highest level donors whose philanthropic contributions are integral to Advancement's efforts. Proper execution of these events is critical. Assist with and create new content related to the Celebration of Scholarships annual program through student acknowledgement acquisition, content design and related creation of student scholarship packets that are distributed annually, for annual Donor Impact Reports (800) and for any major gift donor initiatives. Implement new materials and new content for Donor Relations projects and other specialized acknowledgement programs supporting fundraising efforts for our Student Scholarship, Loyalty Society and UProgress donors. Utilize and extract data from Raiser's Edge database and Anthology e-mailing programs platforms Implement new acknowledgement language / ideas to keep outreach items fresh and up to date.
