Position Summary
The is seeking a Coordinator of Administrative Services , a highly visible staff member who will serve as a primary liaison with all parts of the university and a wide range of individuals in service to the Dean of Students Office, Veterans Support Services, Intercultural Diversity Center, Student Support and Resources, LGBTQ Center, Student Conduct and Accessibility Resources.
As Coordinator of Administrative Services, you will join a team that supports the University at Buffalo’s student success by helping students navigate a complex university life so that UB students can flourish during their time here. In this position you will be expected to exhibit strong organizational, communication and time management skills; attention to detail; the ability to work independently and to prioritize workload; an informed awareness of the university and, in particular, Student Life, and a high level of commitment to customer service. The individual must be skilled and experienced in dealing with sensitive and highly confidential information.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinating administrative matters in support of Dean of Students and units
- Leading financial, procurement and personnel transactions and workflow for the departments; ensure transactions are within approved budgets. Creation and submission of a variety of financial and human resource-related transactions
- Developing and implement process improvement strategies in collaboration with the Dean
- Providing guidance on Concur, ShopBlue, SIRI, ePTF, Pacrd, workorders and other university-wide software and programs
- Creating resource management reports and analyze data as requested by the Director(s)
- Collaborating with Student Life Finance and Human Resources to coordinate the resource management and personnel aspects of the department
