Job Description:
Job Duties:
Tracking sendout specimens each day for accuracy in ICD and test codes
Daily identify patients’ tubes and labs as needed according to the lab orders and treatments
Distributing the tubes in correct testing areas.
Proficient in urinalysis and waived testing
Properly spin blood tubes
Helps maintain stock levels and distribution
Assist Lab Managers in filing and categorizing all Proficiency testing, IQCP, QA and other regulatory reports
Maintains Harvest logs such as RSO
Prepares kits with proper tubes and paperwork
Job Requirements:
- 4-year Biology Degree or Phlebotomist
- Must be able to work as a team as well as individually
- Lab experience preferred
