Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the pool to keep UCPA members and guests safe.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Attend a pre-season orientation as scheduled by Aquatics Director and Aquatics Coordinator.
- Attend in-service training sessions as scheduled by Aquatics Director and Aquatics Coordinator.
- Conduct swim tests for UCPA members and guests.
- Complete incident reports regarding incidents at the pool and submit to Aquatics management.
- Able to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Requirements:
- Pass a background check.
- Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current ARC Lifeguard Certification or ability to obtain one upon hiring.
- Be eager to learn and have great communication skills with both teammates and pool patrons.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Lifeguard Training Certification (Required)
