Position Summary
UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to maintain high standards of patient care and safety. The Clinical Operations Manager (COM) will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations including direct supervision of the clinical support team.

Essential Functions:
- In collaboration with the Chair, establish quality of care standards for all nursing protocols ensuring they adhere to local, State, and Federal requirements
- Train and monitor clinical support staff on scope and standards of practice specifically patient safety during procedures, proper sterilization techniques, chaperoning, timeout protocols, and OSHA
- Manage daytoday clinical operations of all locations, aiming to improve patient flow and efficiency
- Create a welcoming, patientcentered environment that demonstrates clinical expertise
- Resolve patient complaints through deescalation techniques
- Enforce proper handling of Protected Health Information
- Supervise and develop clinical support staff through regular feedback conversations and performance evaluations
- Interview and facilitate onboarding of new staff in collaboration with Human Resources
- Actively lead and contribute to staff, faculty, and leadership meetings
- Regularly meet with the Chair and report on Key Performance Indicators and goals
- Demonstrate knowledge in the full spectrum of OBGYN services including general, pediatrics, oncology, urogynecology, complex family planning, maternal fetal medicine, and fertility
- Maintain knowledge of nursing best practices
- New York State Registered Nurse license required; BS in Nursing preferred
- New York State cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification required
- 35 years managing clinical teams in an ambulatory setting
- 35 years establishing safety protocols in an ambulatory setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational skills including multitasking, prioritization, attend to detail
- Ability to adapt and maintain composure in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Selfmotivated, independent decision making, good judgment, and diplomacy
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
