What You’ll Do:
- Work with the team to update the Community Health Assessment (CHA) each year.
- Build and maintain relationships with community groups, organizations, and stakeholders.
- Help with the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) accreditation process.
- Respond to data requests, create reports, and tell the story with engaging visuals.
- Track and monitor health outcomes to improve health efforts and reduce disparities.
- Contribute to the development of health initiatives and research evidence-based programs.
- Assist with grant submissions and review documents for accuracy.
- Keep your knowledge fresh with ongoing training and professional development.
- Participate in strategic planning and be ready to help during a public health emergency.
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of epidemiology, public health, and statistical analysis.
- Experience working with data analysis software like SAS, SPSS, R, or similar.
- Ability to research, analyze, and summarize data effectively.
- A solid understanding of public health principles and community health improvement.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to attend off-site meetings and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with GIS (Geographical Information Systems).
- Ability to interpret professional journals, regulations, and technical procedures.
- 1-2 years of experience in epidemiology is a plus!
