POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinates and assists the Director of Health Care Services to coordinate public/medical and community relations and designated functions essential to the operations of University Health. Serves as a liaison between all internal and external customers among University Health and community agencies. Works in collaboration with Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Strategic Planning/ Business Development departments, assists with outreach activities to increase brand awareness and referral to service lines within University Health. Manages University Health’s role in community Health Fairs and screening events at public and private venues. Serves as the point of contact for the health promotion programs. Performs data analysis and prepares reports, documents and correspondence to monitor outcomes as required on all health promotion events and initiatives. Must be thorough and accurate in compilation and tracking of program information and reporting. Assists Director to include compiling information for leadership review.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelors’ degree in public health, health services, or related field is required, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project coordination and community outreach. Must be knowledgeable about the community and the importance of community outreach. Knowledge of program administration, compliance, employee relations and contracts is preferred. Experience with database management in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
