POSITION SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the daily downloading of hospital claims. Major functions include : supervision of billing, helping maintain the MedAssets Billing System, coordinating with departments on billing errors and additional information required. Complies and reports progress on key indicators to staff and manager on a regular basis. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care / Hospital Management or equivalent experience is required. Three years of experience in UB04 claim forms is required. Knowledge of third party payer requirements is a must. Must be familiar with a hospital environment, regarding emergency center, out-patient surgery, in-patient and out-patient admissions. Two years of supervisory experience in a health care or hospital setting is required.
