Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to provide direct patient care, perform nursing procedures, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diagnostic and interventional cardiology patients in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting as observed by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager, and patient/family feedback unless otherwise noted.
Qualifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. At least one (1) year of experience in special procedures, radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is required. Applicants with a minimum of one (1) year of recent Critical Care, Telemetry or Emergency Department nursing experience will also be considered. Current ACLS and BLS certifications required. Completion of 6‐ 8 weeks Cath Lab procedure training with an experienced nurse preceptor for newly hired Cath Lab nurses.
