Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and caregivers to promote a culture of empathy and understanding.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation as required by hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge, skills, and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Current Ohio State RN license or compact state RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on clinical area standards
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required based on clinical area standards
Work Environment
This role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination.
Travel Requirements
10% travel required within the region.
