What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist/ Front Desk position at University Nephrology?
* Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations including Medical Records Requests
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information
- Schedule appointments between doctors and patients
* Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits
- Update insurance and changes in patient demographics accurately
* eClinical works program knowledge a PLUS
*Medical Records Processing
* Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
