As a Clinical Research Coordinator in Pediatric Neurosurgery, duties will include working closely with the direct supervisor and Principal Investigators, assisting with research study coordination and implementation, protocol eligibility, and participating in the informed consent process. You will be responsible for completing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and entering clinical research data. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate source documents related to all research procedures, including changes in patient condition, adverse events, query resolutions, participating in coordinator trainings, and conference calls.

- Maintains research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Responsible for accurate and timely data collection, documentation, entry, and reporting, including timely response to queries.
- Collects and ships biomedical specimens (CSF, shunt catheters, blood, etc).
- Maintains strict research participant confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law.
- Coordinates and schedules research visits and procedures.
- Participates in required training and education programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Will work closely with the research team.
- Participates in bi-weekly research meetings.
