Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Student Experience in the Division of Student Affairs, the Director of the UAB Career Center leads a broad portfolio of responsibilities that support an institutional focus on student success and excellence in teaching, learning, and research. The director provides overall vision and leadership for the UAB Career Center, which serves the university’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional students, as well as alumni and employers. The Director promotes optimal learning outcomes and career readiness competencies through a range of functions, programs, and services.
Annual Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in business, counseling, education, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience.
