Medical Assistant-Temp

The University of Alabama Temporary Services is seeking a Temp Medical Assistant in our pediatric clinic in our Huntsville location.

Must have experience working as a Medical Assistant with the pediatric population. Must have experience taking vital signs and working with electronic medical records. Experience administering childhood vaccinations is preferred.

Duties:

o Obtain Vital signs

o Documenting patient history

o Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

o Assisting with Referrals

o Perform various clerical and lab duties

Qualifications - External

• MUST have strong organizational skills

• MUST have strong communication skills
