About the Position
The University of Alaska Southeast is seeking an experienced philanthropy director to join our Office of Advancement. As an Associate Director of Development, you will serve as a major gift officer and work closely with the Executive Director of Advancement to develop and implement strategic plans to increase philanthropic support for the university.
Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Build and maintain relationships with UAS alumni, friends, and donors
- Collaborate with internal development and university colleagues to achieve fundraising goals

Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of successful fundraising experience or relevant skills
- Master's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, business, public administration, or another relevant field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience
