Wood Center Front Desk Attendant - Student Assistant

Come join our awesome team at the Wood Center! The Wood Center Front Desk Attendant is responsible for providing services at the main desk and the games area at Wood Center. Services include, but are not limited to, campus information, lost and found services, recreational services (pool tables, ping pong, bowling, video games and campus switchboard), ticket sales for campus and community events, and sales of a variety of sundries. Shifts are available from 6:30 am - 11:30 pm.

Reading, writing, speaking, customer service skills.

Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

Preferred experience: office setting and customer service.

Ability to display professional demeanor and make consistent decisions being honest and trustworthy in all required duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA and be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Position Details:

This position is located on the University of Alaska campus in Fairbanks, This is a part-time, student assistant position, starting rate of pay is $14.96 per hour.

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year.
