As a Faculty member, it is imperative to provide coordination, continuity, and consistency in patient care, community outreach, research and instruction. Incumbents must be highly skilled and knowledgeable in their particular fields and, where relevant, have specialized experience.
Faculty are appointed in the COM, Department of Internal Medicine at the rank commensurate with their training and experience.The appointment of Faculty on their specific Pathway is determined by the Division Director and the Chair and recommended through the JFR and appointment process.Qualifications:Minimum:
Medical Degree and/or PhD/DO
Residency Program Experience
Appointees should possess relevant degree or scholarly or professional credentials, which may vary by discipline and department. Appointments may have varied responsibility in the areas of patient care, medical education, and/or research.
Additional Information:
- Duties will include but are not limited to direct patient care, medical teaching, and research collaborations.
- Engagement in clinical care and/or scholarly activities that advance clinical medicine are to be included.
- Additional duties will vary by position, discipline, and division.
