Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT or related field plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two,
- OR Bachelor's degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two -
- OR - Associates degree in Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT or related field plus seven (7) years of experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two -
- OR - High School diploma plus nine (9) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two.
- Required Certification: Epic Willow Inpatient - Must currently be certified or obtain within 12 months.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT experience plus Clinical or Operational experience.
Additional Information:
- Responsible for building system components, testing, implementation support and maintenance of assigned system applications.
- Performs in-depth analysis, trouble shooting, data collection, and root cause analysis and then identifies and/or implements potential solutions for issues related to the system or usage of it.
- Analyzes/reviews and tests each product release and communicates needed changes to operations. Must be able to document and follow system change control procedures for the system.
- Works closely with other analysts, software vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs.
- Researches, analyzes, facilitates, and implements business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices. Identifies best practices and implements opportunities for standardization.
- Prepares activity and other reports as necessary.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior analysts.
- Attains necessary certifications, as applicable, in a timely manner according to policy.
- Provides On-Call support for application.
