Summary Of Job Duties
Trojan Works Student Workers serve in various roles across campus as Institutional Work-Study (IWS) student workers. Specific duties are designated by the department hiring manager to include but are not limited to customer service, answering phones, and clerical work.
Student involvement in campus life is a meaningful factor in student retention. Students working in the Student Experience Center have the opportunity to see campus life firsthand, and they are able to assist in planning, marketing, and also enjoy the opportunities provided by the Student Experience Center. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience
- Degree-seeking UA Little Rock students enrolled in classes at the time of application;
- Eligible to legally work 20 hours per week in the United States;
- The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma;
- Must be ineligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS).
- Trojan Works students will be stationed at the front desk where they will learn and use a variety of administrative skills;
- Students will perform tasks as assigned to them by the Student Experience team. These tasks use varied skillsets such as event planning, use of social media, and customer service;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Customer Service Skills;
- Familiarity with University Processes and Systems, such as Astra/Mazevo;
- General computer skills, preferably knowledge of Google Office suite.
Salary Information
$11.00 per hour
