Responsibilities
Workforce Education teaching positions are appointed on a course-by-course basis, as needed.
Course(s) may be scheduled during the day, evening or weekends, depending on student or employer demands. Faculty assignments are then determined based on instructor availability. Teaching students safety within respective occupations. Maintain appropriate course documentation. (i.e.; syllabi, licensure requirements, learning objectives, exam results, lesson plans, attendance policy, etc.) Recommend additional instructional supplies, ensure proper storage and security of supplies and equipment. Maintain a clean classroom/lab area.
Available to attend the professional development, as necessary.
Due to the safety critical nature of Workforce Education, successfully candidates will be asked to complete a drug screen.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have 4 years of professional experience
- License, Certificate, or proof of advanced education (as applicable)
- List of three Professional References (name, email, business title)
- Resume
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or Certificate from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, department of labor registered apprenticeship, or state licensing agency.
- Teaching and/or supervisory experience
- Familiarity with online learning management systems
