*Primary point of contact for all cloud and on-premise applications;
*Responsible for design and deployment of computer labs on campus to include cable management;
*Determine appropriate hardware and software needs with department manager and network administrator;
*Install, configure, and maintain a wide range of software and hardware used throughout the College;
*Configure, maintain, administer and disperse Faculty and Student laptops and desktops;
*Assist users with questions and problems related to software, hardware, and various system applications;
*Develop and maintain current expertise in a variety of application software packages;
*Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues;
*Perform backups of all campus wide systems and applications;
*Perform and maintain campus wide technology inventory;
*Install and maintain campus wide cabling and infrastructure;
*Occasional shift work and occasional "on-call" duty may be required;
*And perform other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.Qualifications:
Must have technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and system support for multiple users. Must understand installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for software, hardware, networking and accessory equipment. Three years of experience with personal computers, MS Windows, MS Office and commonly used cloud-based applications is required. Knowledge of cable management and cable termination is a must. Knowledge of cloud-based ERP platforms such as Workday is a plus. Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder is required. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
