Under general supervision of the Senior Associate Athletic Director, responsible for assisting with the direction and administration of all aspects of the Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) NCAA Division I Compliance Program which encompasses 6 different athletic conferences. Provide education, monitoring, and interpretations; process waivers and provide full compliance support to assigned subject areas. Assist with various NCAA and conference waivers and assist with investigations and self-reports.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience, or education and experience.
• Experience working in an intercollege athletics compliance setting.
• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Skills to analyze rules and apply them appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent writing and oral communication skills to communicate effectively at a variety of levels including to department
• leadership, Head Coaches, and NCAA staff.
• Skills to independently prioritize high volume workloads, handle multiple tasks, and meet multiple deadlines with frequent interruptions.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of NCAA Initial Eligibility


Key Responsibilities

• 70% - NCAA COMPLIANCE AND MONITORING
• 20% - UTILIZATION OF TEAMWORKS/ARMS SOFTWARE/CAI DATABASE/NCAA APPLICATIONS
• 10% - GENERAL COMPLIANCE DUTIES
