What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator-Patient Navigation and Business Services position at University of California - Los Angeles Health?
As the Account Coordinator, you will independently perform a full range of responsibilities including providing financial reports ad analyses to patients, payers and providers. In this role, you will be providing a seamless patient or client experience and ensuring that all financial arrangements including receipt of adequate deposits and authorizations are in place for future anticipated services, and resolution of past due balances. You will also meet wtih patients and/or their families to review and discuss their accounts and provide a summary of charges.
Salary Range: $29.53 to $46.37 Hourly
We are seeking a highly analytical and detailed driven professional with:
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification process to determine eligibility and interpretation of coverage.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate information in a clear and professional manner
- Strong writing , multi-tasking and analytical skills preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Work and Outlook
- Ability to work well independently and/or as a team with minimal supervision in a high volume environment
- Demonstrate experience working with diverse population and knowledge of different cultures
- Ability to accurately calculate and collect deposits based on estimates and insurance benefits.
