Under the direction of the Training Manager, the Business and Financial Systems Principal Trainer (PT) is responsible for the overall curriculum for the Workday business systems. This PT will serve as the primary training representative (anchor) between Workday and UCLA Health and will work with the application manager, analysts, business owner, vendor, stakeholders, and other ISS team members. PT is expected to develop, execute, and maintain the training program for Workday application. The principal trainer is an integral project team member, participating in workflow design, engagement, and educational activities. With this, the PT is expected to analyze, develop, test, and maintain the training curriculum. In addition, they manage updates to policy and procedure documentation related to training, conduct staff training, update asynchronous training materials, and manage training change management for any software upgrades and updates.

- Bachelors or master'sdegree with equivalent work experience
- Requiredto become certified in Workday Application
- Experience indesigning, delivering, and maintaining synchronous and asynchronous training programsfor Workday application
- Preferred priorexperience with IT systems and systems development projects.
- Ability tocollaborate with SMEs and learners throughout the instructional designprocess. Works with all levels of theorganization, from front-line staff to senior management.
- Demonstratedability to be self-directed with excellent organizational, writing,interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong written andverbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical informationto all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.
- Effectiveleadership skills and strong customer service orientation.
- Experiencemanaging, coaching, or mentoring trainers.
- Experience workingwith the communications team to publish training schedules and communicate withstakeholders
- Must be detail-orientedand have a knack for probing for information in order to fully understand theunderlying needs that influence how a training material should be configured / organized.
- Ability to manageand prioritize multiple and competing tasks, appropriately delegate and trackwork, and hold individuals accountable for work tasks.
