The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a Health Sciences Clinical position at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or full Professor ranks, who is interested in full-time academic clinical practice in transplant infectious diseases. The position involves inpatient and outpatient ID at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center encompassing a range of patient populations including immunocompromised patients with a focus on transplant recipients. Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, clinical research, and resident and fellow teaching are available. Transplant/Infectious Disease experience preferred. An M.D. or D.O. is required. Candidates must be a board eligible or board certified Infectious Disease specialist and California medical licensed/licensable.
The posted UC salary scales [https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html] set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $134,700-$411,500. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan [https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf] , which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
