We're seeking a dedicated Payroll Analyst 2 to join the Bourns College of Engineering and support our mission to foster a thriving academic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a shared services center providing payroll and onboarding services while working with a team of highly skilled and self-motivating service professionals who strive to complete team goals and services within service level agreements for BCOE Department clients and external clients.
What Will You Do?
As a Payroll Analyst 2, you will play a key role in supporting the POSSC Shared Service Center and will contribute as a collaborative team member to POSSC's payroll functions including, but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, time reporting, payroll oversight, workforce administration, case management (benefits, accrual management, etc.) and leave administration for a variety of employee populations.
You will ensure accurate entry and oversight of information for biweekly and monthly payroll processes for student, staff, and academic employees. You will coordinate with clients as well as other Shared Services Centers (SSC) to gather information for service requests and process personnel updates in the central payroll system (UC Path) accordingly.

The full salary range for the Payroll Analyst 2 is $26.82 - $46.17 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $41.33 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
