UCR Central Human Resources (CHR) focuses on a framework and sustainable model that enables service enhancement, staff success and organizational agility. UCR CHR is comprised of the following teams, Employee and Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition and Diversity Outreach, Employee and Labor Relations, Benefits, Health & Wellness, Total Compensation, and HR Policy & Strategic Initiatives. An incumbent in the project policy analyst role will report to CHR and contribute as a member of the HR Policy & Strategic Initiatives team. In alignment to the framework and sustainable model the analyst will integrate the CHR ETHOS into assignments and projects daily.

Under the general direction of the Central Human Resources (CHR) Sr. Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives, the incumbent will support and manage projects requiring close interaction with department leadership, and campus clients. Projects will support administrative and departmental priorities across multiple functional areas. Facilitates collaborations both within and outside of the Department by working with all levels of staff and management. Develops and leverages relationships within the workplace and builds and sustains excellent relationships at multiple levels in the organization and within the campus community. Applies professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.

The full salary range for the Project Policy Analyst III is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $92,400 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
