Job Summary
The Director of Student Affairs manages the daily operations of the Office of the Student Affairs, including budget and personnel. In partnership with the Associate Dean of Student Affairs (ADSA), the Director of Student Affairs will annually review long and short-term strategic planning for the Office of Student Affairs as well as develop and implement school policies relating to student affairs. They will oversee and manage student affairs programs, events, and initiatives to promote student success. The Director of Student Affairs will also serve as the primary School of Pharmacy liaison for student administrative issues and will work with campus administrative units and the Board of Pharmacy on issues affecting students.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $84,400 - $180,000 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Minimum 6 years of related experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience as lead / supervisor / manager.
- Skills in monitoring / assessing people, processes or services, to make improvements.
- Skills in project management, social perceptiveness to be aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
- Ability in problem identification, reasoning.
