What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Director, Pediatric Cardiac CTCU and PCICU position at University of California San Francisco?
The Unit Director for the Pediatric Cardiac Transitional Care Unit and the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit designs and oversees all nursing and administrative operations for these inpatient units. The Unit Director is accountable for the overall administrative planning and coordination of the staffing, fiscal, and material resources. In collaboration with the Director of Pediatric Critical Care Services, the Unit Director assists with the development and implementation of new programs and policies. The Unit Director serves as a role model for nursing practice and utilizes nursing and leadership theories to guide practice and clinical quality. Direct reports are Assistant Unit Directors.
The salary range for this position is $253,901 - $269,436 (Annual Rate). The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
