Position description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for temporary research positions (Project Scientist Series). The Project Scientist position requires demonstrated significant, original, and creative contributions to a research or creative program or project.

Please note: The use of temporary research titles pool does not guarantee that an open position exists at the time you are applying. Applicants must resubmit a new application letter each year beginning November 1 to retain eligibility.

Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) or completed all requirements for a PhD except the dissertation at the time of application in engineering, or the physical or biological sciences.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

PhD by time of appointment

Preferred qualifications

Desired qualifications include an outstanding research record or demonstrated independent research in the areas of: Computer Engineering, Communications, Control & Signal Processing, or Electronics and Photonics.
