Position Summary
This position will monitor daily calls and activity within the Lock Shop. This will include filing, answering phones, emails, and entering data into the Lock Shop Programs. Occasionally unlocking doors and building cores. Job Duties and Responsibilities 1. Key Entry into data key systems.
2. Entering Card Access into key system.
3. Filing
4. Answering call to the Lock Shop and disbursing calls to Lock Smiths
5. Filing key forms
6. Occasionally unlocking doors on campus.
7. Building key cores with a trained Lock Smith
8. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Any previous lock smith experience and admin experience.
Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
Ability to work with a team or at times alone. Skills Considered Essential for Success -Knowledge of the organization and administration of higher education.
