Position Summary
The Skilled Trades Helper assists a certified or licensed skilled tradesman in the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), area on the campus of UCA. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency / institution policy.
This is a weather essential position Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist the HVAC Technicians and Specialist in maintenance and repairs of HVAC equipment
Assist the HVAC Technicians and Specialist in installs and services
Perform general duties such as changing filters, Clean casings, perform preventive maintenance
Other Duties As Assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
Ability to make sound judgements
Effective communication, writing and organizational skills

Must have a current valid drivers license
Must have at least 1 year of HVAC experience Preferred Education and / or Experience Prefer at least 2 or 3 years experience in HVAC
Have a low or high pressure boilers license or willing to get one
