This is a .25 FTE position working approximately 520 hours per year.Coordinate selection process for the Mulekicker dance squad. Train, direct, and coach the Mulekicker dance squad.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Train, direct, and coach/coordinate the Mulekicker dance squad at practice, athletic events, and appearances. - 95%Provide training on appropriate and acceptable behavior during athletic events with special emphasis on NCAA and MIAA rules.Demonstrate professionalism and good sportsmanship of each Mulekicker squad member.Assist with determinations of applicable actions for poor performance (athletically and academically) of behavior or violation of established rules and University policies.Assist in developing budget and administering fund raisers.Oversee care and maintenance of Mulekicker uniforms and equipment.Work in cooperative manner with others who are involved in auxiliary entertainment during events, including the Cheerleaders, Mo the Mule, the Marching Band, UCM Pep Band, and the Director of Music.Escort and organize the Mulekickers to and from camp and to any off campus competitions or appearances.Coordinate selection process for the Mulekicker dance squad. - 5%

Special Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge: Knowledge of proper dance and tumbling technique and accuracy.Ability to demonstrate dance techniques and/or tumbling.
