This is a part-time, entry level position in the Chemistry program. Provide support to Chemistry faculty, students, and staff in the Chemistry Stockroom.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Prepare labs, wash labware, set up/tear down experiments, provide service at Stockroom Service Window.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Special Working Conditions: Irregular work hours. Dress appropriate for working in a chemistry laboratory including long pants, sleeved shirts, enclosed shoes, as well PPEs including goggles and gloves as necessary, will be required.Other Information: Priority will be given to Chemistry majors and minors as this is an educational position and chemistry competence is required in order to perform the job. Cover letter should include chemistry courses completed and a paragraph on what the student hopes to gain from the Stockroom experience (i.e. why do you want this job). Also attach copy of enrollment schedule for Fall 2025 semester.Candidates are required to submit their unofficial transcripts
