Description
Assist with the execution of events held on the University of Central Missouri Warrensburg campus. Serve as the point of contact for clients during events, addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Communicate client requirements to relevant service centers to ensure smooth event operations. Unlock and inspect event rooms before and after each event to ensure all details are in place-rooms are set according to event specifications, AV equipment is operational, and spaces are secured post-event.
Examples of Duties
- Use the university's scheduling software, 25 Live, to generate reports and verify event information.
- Perform front desk duties, including answering phones, addressing client inquiries, and troubleshooting event-related issues.
- Complete a shift report noting incidences, questions, or problems that occur during the shift.
- Read, understand, and continue to learn all operations and procedures required of a Campus Event Manager.
- Act as a resource for students, staff, and guests while enforcing University policies.
- Attend scheduled staff and training meetings.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the event management team and ensure smooth event operations.
